Sarah has worked in fundraising for over a decade, working with a range of institutional, corporate and individual donors. She raised funds for biomedical research before moving to housing and homelessness charity Shelter as their first fundraising research manager. She has also worked in fundraising and funding research in the arts and international development sectors.

Prior to joining Interights, Sarah spent six months in Guatemala undertaking volunteer work and learning Spanish. She has an MA (Hons.) in German from Edinburgh University where she also studied Politics and Social Anthropology, spending in year in Berlin. She is a trustee of Tourism Concern, an organisation which campaigns on tourism and human rights issues. Sarah joined Interights in May 2005. Email Sarah at sharrington@interights.org
