Graduated in Law from the Belarusian State University, Minsk, and holds an LL.M. in Comparative Constitutional Law from the Central European University, Budapest. Before joining INTERIGHTS in January 2010, worked as a lawyer at the Mental Disability Advocacy Center in Budapest, undertaking strategic litigation and law reform advocacy aimed at promoting the human rights of persons with disabilities in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. In that capacity, he litigated a number of cases before the European Court of Human Rights. His other experience includes interning with the Open Society Justice Initiative in Budapest, where he was involved in projects on ethnic discrimination in Russia.
