Criteria will be specific to the requirements of the Programme, but will include
1) a degree in law
2) familiarity with international human rights law and procedures;
3) strong research, analytical and writing skills and
4) an excellent command of English.
INTERIGHTS normally selects interns from among human rights practitioners working individually or with one of our partner organisations.
INTERIGHTS provides funding.
Usually 3 months during the Autumn, Winter/Spring or Summer.
Important note on entry to UK
If you are entering the UK on a Training and Work Experience Permit (TWES), issued by the UK Home Office, you will not be able to return to the UK on another TWES until you have remained out of the UK for 12 months.
If you were on a TWES for over 12 months, you will not be able to return to the UK on another TWES until you have remained out of the UK for 24 months. |
